Then join Haliburton Farm's Food Basket Program - an innovative way to receive a weekly basket of seasonal produce and become closer to the farmers who grow the food. Members receive personal service from the farmers on pick-up day and have questions answered on how the produce was grown or how to prepare it. In addition an information e-mail with the list of produce, recipes and farm news is sent out during the duration of the program.
Visit our farm stand to purchase fresh seasonal veggies, certified organic duck and chicken eggs, certified organic seeds saved at the farm, baked goods and beautiful cut flowers and herbs. Our first farm stand for 2010 opens Saturday April 17, 2010 and then every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11a.m. to 5 p.m.
You can also find us at the Moss Street Market every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. - starting Saturday April 17, 2010.
April 17 and April 24 will be half markets, which means the market runs from 10 - 12.
